Our intellectual struggle today is against a kind of tolerance that is false. It promotes apathy. Its aim is relativism. Its promoters are atheistic. This phony tolerance is pagan at its core. It resembles the Roman Empire's embrace of many gods but its disdain for Christianity.

Think about "inclusivity" - which is now touted in the West as a core principle. In fact, the basis of any community is that it excludes some. Your nation. Your church. Your family. Inclusivity is always used to attack the common bonds of culture - like the war against Christmas.

Think about "diversity" - a concept used by multiculturalists to Balkanize our culture. It threatens social cohesion. It encourages ethnic tribalism. It prefers unassimilated immigrants over native citizens. It destabilizes nations. It peddles the lie that all cultures are equal.

The great irony of Western elites embracing these anti-Western concepts is that they destroy the elites. If you hold that reality & knowledge are just social constructs based on power, then you dissolve the rationale of all elitism & encourage people to disregard all authority.

There's a better and older word for the postmodern multicultural globalism that's popular right now: nihilism.
