Bloomberg News & The Coming Global Famine

Bloomberg News has been running a series of articles in 2020-2021 introducing the narrative that a global famine is coming (especially in Africa) because of "global supply chain disruptions" caused by COVID-19 lockdowns.

How many people could starve? As many as 132 million around the world.

The central thesis of these articles:

"The world is hurtling toward an unprecedented hunger crisis. The pandemic is upending food supply chains, crippling economies and eroding consumer purchasing power. In a worst-case scenario, about a tenth of the world’s population won’t have enough to eat. Some projections show that by the end of the year, more people will die each day from hunger than from Covid-19."

This "global supply chain disruptions will lead to global famine" narrative has now been picked up by the Washington Post and a host of other corporate media outlets. See: https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2020/09/25/pandemic-pushes-hundreds-millions-people-toward-starvation-poverty/

So far, this global famine has not happened. The global supply chains have not failed in such a way that we see a total breakdown

But notice recent events. The SolarWinds hack. The Colonial Pipeline hack and disruption. The container ship "Ever Given" that blocked the Suez Canal.

Now you should notice that the World Economic Forum is warning of a "cyber pandemic" that will disrupt global supply chains. Now you should notice that Bill Gates is buying up prime farmland across America very quietly. Now you should notice the Federal Reserve's disregard for rampant inflation. Now you should notice the Biden Administration's interest in massive fiscal stimulus which leads to rampant inflation.

Do you see what's coming?

A long way from the swamp and no access

I didn’t go on Biden’s first trip overseas and the rest of the White House press corps might wish they had stayed home too.
