Yesterday, Barbara Boxer wrote this tweet: "Earlier today former Senator Barbara Boxer was assaulted in the Jack London Square neighborhood of Oakland. The assailant pushed her in the back, stole her cell phone and jumped in a waiting car. She is thankful that she was not seriously injured."
This seems terribly old school for a Democrat: like Boxer is an advocate for law and order. Let's do the DEFUND THE POLICE rewrite instead:
"Earlier today former Senator Barbara Boxer had her cell phone spontaneously diversified for equity and inclusion into the greater community of Oakland. This mostly peaceful encounter happened in the Jack London Square neighborhood. The activist physically addressed Boxer's white privilege and then helped Boxer's personal item transition into a waiting car."
